How to tell if I need new wiring?

Well, im looking a pretty powerfull HU, and then some really nice speakers. But I have no idea how to tell if ill need new wiring for it all. So, first how do I tell. Then, if needed, how would I go about doing it. (dash and rear deck speakers)

If you are just going to power your door speakers with the HU, then you can just use an aftermarket wiring harness. Keeping your stock wiring the same.

The only way to KNOW if you need new wires is if they get really hot and melt, when you're talking about speakers, it's usually not a NECESSITY, but it's that extra 10% that can help improve your power delivery that tiny bit more.

Depends on the power, tho, in some cases, even the factory wiring may be more than enough headroom, over and above what you actually NEED.
