how to stop speakers from playing low bass

I have a kenwood x995 and I set the x over slope all the way to 24 and the cutoff at 60hz and it still plays below that. Is there anyway to stop this because it is beginning to ruin my speakers.

EDIT: problem solved my amps x over options were acting up just needed to give it a few runs.
