How to ship your 27 lb subwoofer.

The box was super thin and looked like it had either gotten wet or the weight was just too much for it. All 4 sides were sagged out. Yes it's a new product the first one was dropped of by someone and also purchased from Mylows but packaged super with a thick box and supports in case the box got dinged. I have it stowed away in the closet. Guy drove all the way from south sac to north sac like a 45 mins-1 hour drive to drop it off for me :
Jims been on this from the start kinda feel bad for him to be honest. It's been 9 weeks and this has not been the easiest transaction for Mylows poor guy is an awesome vendor and if not for him I would probably still would be waiting. Not gonna go into all the drama. Company is lucky to have vendors like him and the guy on one of their other forums who's also been super helpful.

he has helped me a few times. i have not gotten anything from him but i would not think twice about doing so.

Not the worse i've seen, Had an FI Q 15 shipped to me in a giant wobbly box 1/4 filled with packing paper and thats all, sub could be flying around in there playing Sonic the Hedgehog. Surprise that shiet survived.

My idmax 15 came in a cardboard box with nothing else. Also received two idmax 12s a few years ago the same way. That 15 weighs like 50 lbs

Yeah Super guy ***** to be the middle man sometimes. I try and tell him how grateful I' am but he still feels bad about it. Stuff happens what can you do everyone's human. Doesn't mean I' am over joy'd with the transaction as a whole but I got what I paid for so I can't complain. The Owner didn't have to make me a new sub but he did so I' am grateful about that. Will let you all know how the subs sound when I get them running.

I got the new sub today actually. Packaged properly like the first one. I only took a quick look at it but I will check it out better when I get home. My Sealed box from Cherry should be here tomorrow so only waiting on the KnuKonceptz speaker wire and it's install time. To be honest like everyone who's done a build I' am suffering from some build lag and would just like to be done with it all lol.

Disclaimer: This is my personal opinion based on my own experience with Tantric. This is about Tantric and it's business practices and product. This shouldn't reflect on Jim at all. He's gone 5000% out of his way to work with me and try to make this right.

Update:

Dude sent me the wrong ohm sub. He sent 2's instead of 4's. Gotta love the attention to detail on a replacement sub for one sub of a pair that wasn't built or shipped right to begin with soooo.....Just gonna patch the one packed in peanuts that doesn't look like it's glued properly and run them. If they blow they blow /shrug. Tantric might run great stuff sometimes but people don't pay for sometimes they pay for a quality product every time. People don't want excuses when paying a premium for a product. There are plenty of 12" subs out there at $300 that are done right every time.

Enclosed are the two subs you decide of you'd pay over $600 for these two subs. 2nd two pics are of the same sub. Lack of glue is all the way around and it isn't just clear CA it's lack of it.

I copletely understand about the build lag, haha. My current build took 6 months..

I sold my amp on Friday too, and am waiting on the new one right now.

I can understand why you're upset about the transaction experience. The wrong configuration, lack of CA glue, and poor packing is unacceptable.

However, $300 for a sub isn't too terribly bad and 27 pounds isn't a monster.

27 pounds is pretty light for a sub. Mine is about 115. That's a single sub. Average is probably around 40 pounds or so.
