How to Seal off my Trunk????

Sik, I got no real way of knowing that without testing in your car. Without sealing it I lost when I pushed the box forward. I never got a chance to seal it forward which is my next round of tests after the 22nd.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

if it's for daily I'd do it forward and sealed, so you hopefully have some trunk space left. If you plan on competing you need a TL and LOTS of time testing to figure out what's best for you...

i got a tl and its for spl and i dont care about trunk space.. if i need room, i got back seats hahahahah. i have built about 7 boxes for this car. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif just getting tired of it i want somethgin that will work for me hahahaha

What ya mean by top. just seal the edges. if there's a gap fill it and duct tape it. look for pretty after you find your numbers. lol

I see... Yes seal all the way around the enclosure including the top.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Haha. .... Use whatever means possible to seal dat thing. The L brackets are there to hols the sides in place. Burped it in testing without them and darn near dented my trunk from the inside it bles apart so hard.

and i didn't use any expanding foam or anything, i just made a custom front cover and nailed the actually box to it and mine turned out very nice. All that foam and stuff is a mess and a waste of time.

heres mine

Nice job! When you open your trunk how much bass do you hear? For me the foam was to seal the edges to eliminate any air to get back through. I like to compete and every little .1 of a db counts after awhile. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

me too i might do that too.. i might put tape on the interior so if i ever choose to remove the box, i can just rip it out.. i just dont know how i can test all this i already have walls and the floor built just no top.

thanks man, i didn't seal the edges yet, and i don't think i want to really. The trunk doesn't rattle at all and it is totally awesome sq. What do you mean when i open the trunk, how much bass do i hear though?
