how to properly launch in an manual car??

You can go to a driving school and they'll teach you all these things and how to be responsible as well. If you're wanting to race around and burn out in your manual save it for the track and give innoccent people (and your car) a break.
That site that was posted was also informative.

I understand where you're coming from wanting to learn and never had someone to teach you. BUt seriously the driving schools are awesome, and its nice to have an instructor that knows their shit there.
thanks all I wanted to know is how to do a burnout on a manual *****, and everyone jumped on me.

High-performance schools are especially cool; They'll teach you how to brake, launch, swerve, slide, drift; speeding 180s, all the fun stuff.

And the 'traction circles' concept made so much sense.

there are four circles, with a dot in the middle. They represent your contact patch. (tire to road.) They change shape based on the car's velocity as compared to the alignment of the wheels.

Accelerate, dot moves toward the rear of the circle. Brake, toward the front. Left, right, etc.

Dot goes outside the circle = slippage and hop.

Step 1: Color within the lines.

Step 2: F*ck the lines
