how to properly charge, install, and maintain batterys in the rear

So just to be safe imna be getting 2 55ah batterys from michaellane to run in the rear

my question is -

Do i need to change the duralast gold up front or are they compatable?

Do i need to charge them? And if so should i use a reg battery charger?

How do i set the wiring up from the front battery? Ie i know positive from front to positive in rear and i belive have them ran parallel but should the grpund in the rear go back up front or just ground to the body in the trunk?

Lastly do they require any special matinence or just check voltage every week and charge as needed?

Thanks to everyone that helps and doesnt bash me for not knowing about the extra batt aspect of car audio

Will work with your current battery, but I would run all AGM's.

Yes you should charge them. Only use chargers designed for AGM batteries.

Wire them parallel. Grounding to the frame will probably work, but some people will say to run a secondary ground wire up front. Depends on the frame of your vehicle.

I always keep my batteries on a float charger when I'm home.

I could always drill through floor of trunk and ground to the frame and silicone the hole after wire is through if i do that should i still run a ground all the way under the car with a loom covering or is it better running it through the cabin?

Also would 3 fuses in line of the power wire be too much? And what size fuses should i use?

Also i know its only 2 batts but is a mini buss bar more efficient than just running short wires from batt to batt?

I always run the same amount of pos and neg runs ..dont just ground to frame in rear..power is a 2 way street and neg runs are just as important as pos runs..and only use a charger with agm mode. And i would suggest getting a agm for under the hood..then when they need trickle charged u dont have to unhook anything and can charge all 3 at once

I'd see how voltage drop is before you get too crazy. Honestly, I would wait to buy the batteries.

I would not like to run 3 fuses inline for one run of power wire.

Jumper wires should be fine, no need for bus bars. Hopefully you're not sending 300+ amps between the batteries consistently.

Well ive been thinking instead of running 1 3500 or 4k rms at 1ohm amp of getting 2 SQ-2200s and strapping them since im not running at 1ohm but 1.34ohm then after box rise probably wont even see 3800rms but even if the subs do see 4krms collectively im sure they should be fine.

michaellane was telling me which i do understand completely even before this build and this car it does take power to make power, and im just worried about getting everything in then having too much voltage drop and having to tear everything out and adding batts

but as ive said before i dont really know too much about the batt aspect (I guess thats why im worried about it) ive never ran any, the most rms ive ran was around 2200 and i had lights dimming but didnt think anything of it but that was on a 76 and it had no computer the 93 im worried about something getting messed up

So if i have 2 batts in the rear i need 2 runs of pos and neg going the length from front to rear?

Has nothing to do with the amount of batts u have..depends on power u are running ..with the power u are wanting to run ..1 run of each would work ..but whike i was running wire id do 2 of each ..i run a aq3500.1 and a ppi bk 800.4 and i have 2 of each with 2 100ah batts in the back

Cca is copper clad aluminum and ofc is oxygen free copper ..the ofc can handle more current ..u pick the fusing based on what wire u have
Ok thanks man im sorry some of this stuff is new to me i remember my first system was jumper cable wire when i was 15 with no fuses lol now im older and over the years ive become more meticulous in wanting to know about everything and having my installs being more professional.
