How to play songs from Laptop on my car stereo??

Hello...i was wondering how do i hook up my laptop to my car stereo??...what are the ways of doing it??...and what if all my preouts are taken...I only have 3 pairs of preouts..they are used for all my amps...whats a way to use a laptop with out using preouts...I heard you can use an FM transmitter or something like that...if anyone can help..i would like to know..thanks

I say just use the AUX if you have one...or if you have a cassette deck, you can use the car kit for CD Players.

there are t quick ways both depend upon your head unit. 1. if you have aux inputs on you hu then use the headphones output from the pc with a rca splitter wire to the inputs on the hu and you will be fine. 2 if your head unit has a usb port then you can plug directly into the usb port and it should work ok you may have to map a location to it on the pc though. one problem i have run into doing method 1 is that the output of the pc converts the signal to run into a pair of headphones so the low level response is cut somewhat and reproduction through the car system is lacking in overall clarity. good luck.
