how to open???

bring it to an auto body shop. Or try prying on the lock latch with a pry bar or hammer. How long has the car sat to rust up like that? Maybe one of your friends superglued it shut as a joke?

kick the door from the inside?

i'd have to go with what was said above about taking it to an auto body shop.

or just live with it as is and always get in from the passenger side, then you should begin to make videos of yourself and your car and mail them to X-zibit so they can fix the door but **** everything else up. :p

is it possible to get to the latch? maybe unbolt the latch from the door or car since you have the door panel off. or get a grinder with a cut off wheel and cut the latch off of the door then just replace the latch. wd40 should work or if you can get an air chisel and try hitting the latch with that maybe the impact or vibration will loosen something

In all honesty, put some penetrating oil in there and let it sit,

try removing the rod from the handle end so you only are pulling the latch, tap the latch with the oil in it with a small hammer or such to try to jostle it.

If that doesn't work, I would say get in there with a drill motor or a dremel (w/ the flex neck) and dissect it (probably what I would do), then after you take it down, get a new latch, bada bing!

DONT USE A GRINDER, that sounds like a mess all day

thank you probably the best answer posted //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif Im gonna try it tomorrow, I cant reach the latch from just the door panel im gonna have to cut it out and see if I can dismantle the latch.

thanks again

FWIW, PB Blaster is a MUCH better rust-breaker than WD-40. I have had bolt/nut combos that have looked like one solid piece be broken apart by it. I didn't cut them, because they weren't replace-able. It still amazes me how well it works. I would reccomend over 40 every day
