I have some beats in my head, but i cant get em down on aything, I have a playstation Music Mixer or sumthin like that but Im looking for something on here, what do you guys use and are there any programs i could get to lay these tracks down?

Some of my friends use a program called reason. I don't know anything about it but i guess its for your pc or some shit.

Reason is cool, but has a steep learning curve, not very good for beginners. I suppose FruityLoops is good for starting out, but it's difficult to make anything that's actually enjoyable unless you have a grip of your own samples (especially for drum programming)
