Well, I have a solid grasp on the basics of car audio, but am really interested in learning more. There are many people on here who know so much and I am curios where all this was learned?

Like what makes a good subwoofer good, more in depth in how enclosures work, whats needed to get the most out of your system etc..

dont u dare post any of your questions though because 95% of the time u will get called a retard by half the people around here lol theres a few that are helpful but most just like to talk and make people feel dumb for asking. your best bet is to just sit back and read up. study like you never did in highschool. thats what i do and ive come far in the past couple of years.

I learned from building, testing, and experimenting with different things. Didn't matter if someone could explain it in words or text. I'm the type who learns through experience.

x2, doing stuff yourself and experimenting is the best way to learn how certain things affect others(ie: with box building and speaker tuning). Nothing beats personal experience with that kind of stuff, especially because since it should be subjective to what you prefer anyways.

WOW 1st post and I've already found the asshats. I'm more than happy to help anyone that has a real passion for car audio and takes it seriously but if all this place is, is a bunch of smart *** children then I'll take my 23 years of skills and knowledge and be on my way. One of the reasons I don't frequent car audio forums is because of this type of attitude. Unfortunate for you. I would have posted more "how to's" than you could imagine. I think I'll read other posts to see if I want to stick around.
