How to know if speaker pods need to be IB or sealed?

Installed my Rainbow SAC 465's and have one woofer per door in a pod. The pod is currently sealed but I am wondering if it is supposed to be open on the back to make it IB like the woofer mounted in the stock position? The manual says the doors need to be 30 liters in order for these speakers to be installed in a correct manner, which makes me think they both need to be IB...

Holy hell 30 liters is a lot, even 3 liters is a lot for a small woofer but if the manual states it then yes it's more than likely a IB woofer.

If it sounds fine now then I wouldn't worry abut it, especially if you already have subwoofers to cover the bass duty.

what specs are you looking for? only one i know off hte top of my head is rms power is 200 watts.

yeah i have a sub, this speaker requires one as it isn't full range. it does soudn fine but im hopefully about to double the power from it, from the minimum 100 to the rms of 200. not sure what that will do, if anything as far as being in a sealed pod

if it's too small of a sealed enclosure, it will affect low midbass response. power handing wouldn't affect it, so if it sounds ok now, it'll just be louder with more power - however additional power is probably required due to the pressure inside the pod. venting it to the door would improve midbass response.
