having an issue with sound not staying inside the car. my wife went into a store (that had its entrance doors open) and i stayed in the car. while i was waiting i thought i'd test out the system and cranked it up.

when she came out she was saying that she could hear the song pretty clearly while she was inside and even named the song i was playing.

so how do i keep the sound from getting out? my doors are dynamated. Should I put some CCF over the dynamat on the inside of the door (by the window)?

Wow, never thought I would see this question asked here.

Start lurking at DIYMA, those guys have a hundred ways to deaded (anything that would keep out road noise would necessarily keep music in)

You can pull that amplifier and take to an Audio shop and see if they will test it. Most shops charge very little and some will not even charge...

Go 150 Watts speakers or equal to your amps. 150 watts and up is your amps. That's the good rule of thumb.

The best thing you can do is make a solid plan. This way you won't be spending money twice and having to keep going back in add or replace parts.
