Well, you have to understand, nothing is going to make the dad just like you for no reason. So, find out his hobbies and interests. Try to have something in common with him other than his daughter. Also take note he said you dressed like a slob. Start dressing better. Don't make any of this too obvious to the girl though, boyfriend that sucks up to the parents = not hot.
