I have a 1989 lincoln mark vii lsc and i was just wondering do the back seats pull down or how could i get the cables from the back of my trunk me and my friend were thinking about running them behind the back of the panel but that will be a little hard so i was wondering if there is anyway at all i can get the wires to go behind the back seat somehow ThX:uhoh:

Stuff it under the bottom of the backrest of the seat, into the trunk... that seatback does not come off easily at all. Just play with it- look at how the seat is put together, try pusing a piece of copper wire through there to find a path.

It would help to put some time into your posts as well.

I'm trying to help you.

There's a minimum level of comprehension you need to be able to get your point across well - otherwise, you'll just get frustrated and never be able to get a good answer to your problem.

Not to mention you'll never be able to hold a job that makes more than under $10/hr with those writing skills.

Comments like those will not get you any help from respected forum members either. Jack was just pointing out that with no commas, punctuation, etc., your post becomes harder to decipher. Which, in turn, is not going to get you much help if people can't understand what your trying to ask, or get across.

Was that proper grammer Jack? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I would start by looking in the trunk. Look at the area at the bottom of the back of the seat. There might be a panel seperating the trunk from the car. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

There is... i think you can get the wire under it though, but you might have to push it up the back of the seat and out one of the holes. My Crown Vic had a foam padding stuff I had to cut to get the wire through.

Here is another smart *** answer: Yes

Frosty's point on punctuation and actually asking a question was helpul. From what I see all you want to know is " so i was wondering if there is anyway at all i can get the wires to go behind the back seat somehow "

And you didn't even use a question mark.

The bottom of the back seat lifts up and pulls out, the top has a couple retention devices on it (not done a VII, but an VIII) and whamo easy as pie access to the trunk.
