Two diamond audio tdx 12's

I just hooked up these two subs two a rf x6 and they sound horrible you get some deep bass and then nothing. Should I upgrade the amp or put a cap on it gettingone anyways). What about a ma audio hk4000d (just ordered it) would this do the job?

what type of enclosure are they in?

whats the specs on that amp? you need 1000-1200 watts per sub

The rockford fosgate x6 only puts 475 at 4 ohms. Maybe thats the problem.? As for the enclosure don't really know the specs on it.

You need more power. Are they in a ported enclosure or a sealed one?

They are in a sealed box in my yukon, but are about to be put in my silverado do you know anyone that can build me a custom enclosure.
