How to get the Most out of my setup?

Goal is to add more depth to my front stage and get the most out of my AQ2200d at all volume levels

Currently running my front stage passive which consists of:

Components: Focal Polyglass 165vr

AMP: Autotek MM 100.4 (100x4 @ 4ohm)

AQ2200 seems like i'm not getting even half the power I should someone recently suggested that I invest in a Equalizer would this help with most my issues?

If so which EQ's are recommended.

Even short answer suggestions will help... thanks

What sub are you running? How big is your enclosure? Is your car deadened? Is the amp receiving enough power? Are the gains set correctly? There's a lot of things that it could be...

Trunk and doors deadened.

1/0awg for the amp and never run below 12v holds at 14.3 at idle

Gains are perfect.

Sold my subs the other day but I've noticed a huge difference in output using the same setup with less power.. Not even comparable. He had a EQ and rockford 360.2

I guess I'm just wondering mostly about the EQ's here and what to look for as far as specs and brands go. Looking to add depth to my frontstage
