How to fix the rattle?

I just put a system in my 96 civic. I got a single 12 kicker L5 hooked up to a fosgate 2 ch 1800w amp. It bangs like crazy, it was sounding nice as **** for the first 2 days till the rattle came in. Now it sounds like my plastic panel on top of my 6x9s is rattling which is making it sound like straight shit and i think something else is rattling too i just cant really tell what else is. I tried moving with the panel but it feels completely still in place, but im almost positive its rattling. I was wondering if any of you guys know how to fix this problem thats annoying the shit out of me. Ill appreciate any suggestions. Thanks

Well have fun getting the plastic to stop rattling. I have a 2002 chevey cavalier and my front dash rattles like a bitc h now. I was nice and quite till I put my system in there. System sounds great when I turn it up, but when it is down I can hear everything rattling. It just is part of the experience now. I have most of my car sound deadend too. Only suggestion is to take it apart and screw everthing back down. Then in a couple days I am sure that rattle will be back. Good luck!

Do you still have the stock rear speakers? If I remember right, they are under the package tray in the back window and you can sometimes put nuts on the screws to tighten them down (they bolt in from the top, under the plastic).

i have a 98 honda accord and i have the same problems.....i took out the rear light in the back completely cause i was flappin against my back window... and i cant really do anything bout the visors...they flap all around and its so annoying....i jus wanna take everything thats loose and throw it away,,,

Why not use velcro to secure your visors? It may sound like an odd idea, but it just might work.

most stuff in mine is taken apart then black silicon, then screwed back together, When it come spart the silicon peels off fine but while it tis screwed togteher and the silicon hardens up stops alot of vibrations.

what i did with my corolla was removed the rear speakers and deadend the back real well.. i'll be getting good comps for the front to where i won't need rear speakers...
