My box is gonna be 48" (w) x 21.25" (d) x 17.625" (h) and i need to know how many yards of fabric i need to cover the box, so i can order it now any one know way to find out or know how many sq yards of fabric i would need, any help appreciated.
Not really...just find 60" wide fabric, or just use carpetdepending on how WIDE the fabric is, you might be screwed. You already have to lay the box long ways since it's 48" wide. the other measurements make it... paint for you my friend.
If he's going to take triangles down to cover the sides then the peaks of the triangles will be ~9" on the sides, take that times to and add that 18" to the 48" of width he already has and he'd still be 6" short of the 66" necessary to do the job. I'm new to this, so I don't know if all boxes are covered that way. If there's a different way of covering it then void my statement. Not really...just find 60" wide fabric, or just use carpet

So you were saying for him to find fabric wider than 60"Fabric is available at any length..Just a matter of finding it..When it comes in from over seas it comes in like 10-20ft rolls..
