How to find note of a song?

I know my craftsman clamp on true RMS meter. actually reads freq . One of very few I have seen that do it. not sure if you want to spend 100 but a clamp on is always nice to have anyways. You just touch the prongs to the neg and pos speaker terminals on the amp and play the song. it is pretty accurate. I tested my wall plug and tested 59.98 to 60.02 hz

Audacity is free and easy. Highlight the section to want to analyze, click analyze --> plot spectrum. Then change linear frequency to log frequency and change the 512 to 16384. Select different parts of the song to get the spectrum of the different parts. It's really simple and it's free (legally).
