Hello, I have my amplifier mounted to the back of my sub box and would like to know how can I temporarily disconnect my amp wiring to take out the sub box with amp on it? I need space just for this weekend in back of my SUV. Can I just disconnect all the wires/cables going to my amp and just put black electrical tape on the ends and make sure sub output is off on my head unit? Hope you guys can help me on this one. Thanks.

Sorta right. Remove power wire 1st....tape that sonbitch up with electrical tape as you said, then ground. Remote, spkr wire and RCA's would be next.
