How to correctly wire this setup? (fused or nonfused dblock)

Hello all,

...i want to use 0 gauge primary with 250a inline

opt1. If nonfused dblock used, i will connect both amps with a 4gauge reduced at end of 0 gauge

opt2. If fused dblock used, i will use 150a|60a fuses (ph4000-md|mrx-v70 respectively) and connect amps w/ 4gauge wire.

Are any 'opt' right? which is best?...is there a better way? thanks

The American Bass amplifier doesn't have fuses built in, so you need to use a fused distribution block. They recommend a 150 amp fuse. A Mini ANL fused distribution block would make it easier to get appropriately sized fuses, since the Alpine is rated for 60 amps of fusing. It's safer to go smaller on the inline fuses than larger.

so, essentially what ur sayin is it would b ok to use 200a inline
No. Your fused distribution block will take a separate fuse for each output, such as 1/0 in and dual 4 out. 150 amp fuse on one output, 60 amp fuse(or even 50 amp) on the other output.

ok, but is the fusing right?
