How to clean the terminals on the battery...

Soda...seriously.... A little bit of soda wiil clean them!

Dialelectric Grease. It helps connection and cleans all the crap off. Thats what I use when I hooked up my power to battery.

baking soda mixed with water, just pour over the terminals then hit it with the wire brush

It's frightening how well soda will clean things...so well, in fact, it's a corrosion hazard in itself. I've seen tests done where Coke placed on a car hood will eat its way through the paint...

As for cleaning a battery, I would take a stiff wire brush as mentioned before, paying close attention while cleaning the positive terminal that I didn't touch anything else with the brush.

The carbonated water in the soda will clean it....A little bit and wipe the excess off..Try it I PROMISE!

I did not say to put the soda on the car hood! Like I said, pour a little bit of soda on the terminals and wipe off, after brushing........Its worked for me in the past.....

Baking soda and water. Put just a little bit on the terminal post. and then withwire brush. But be careful not to get any inside the battery thru the battery caps.

Go to Auto Zone and pick up a battery terminal cleaner tool. They arent too expensive and fit snugly on the terminals to clean them perfectly.
