What's the best way to buy items that's for sale on the forums without getting ripped off? I see a lot of great deals on here all the time but I'm to scared of getting ripped off to buy anything

Buy from stand up guys with lots of good feedback and use paypal, like everyone else said. No gifts.

Make sure seller has good communication.

If they're too lazy/stupid to post pics, I don't bother with them.

Usually phone and text along with shipping/packing videos and unboxing videos covers your as$. Nothing like cold hard evidence on your side for peace of mind and leverage on paypal disputes.
