How to blow a 18" Fi BTL

in a suburban i would deff do subs up port back...no reason to wall you have plenty of room

got ya. So how does Meade have 4 BTL's at 30k watts? I am not aiming that high, but I at least wanted 15k about 3500 on each sub.

4 22" subs will most likely need to be walled...the 21" IA subs like to be around 8 cubes each so you do the math

That's a lot of space. Either way I cant wait to see one in action. The lows on that bish will be insane.

be careful and watch what your doing, 3500 watts daily to a btl is alot, if your dead set on 3500 per sub go with 4 sundown 3500's or audioque 3500d's (AQ 3500 is only 549 right now brand new) both are great amps

Gooottt you I didn't think about that. So skip it 10,000 watts will be my goal so 4 Hifonics instead of 8. I like to play full songs and sweeps and things. Not just youtube vids. Good looking out. I would have been pissed. So the good side is that means my build will start soon as hell. I am looking for alternators and batteries ant then I will be ready. Oh yeah 2 more Hifonics 2610's.

I got yall. The reason I asked id because I thought about powering my 4 BTL's with 2 hifonics brutus 2610's each. Is that too much or will it laugh at them. I think I will do something other than sundown, aq, and rf amps. Just trying to take a different route. Not saying that there is anything wrong with them I am just taking a different route. Nor am I saying that Hifonics are all that. Just a thought.

ever think about kicker 2500's they are great underrated amps...i heard a few with kicker amps and it sounded the best by far than any other ive heard

the 2610s are perfectly fine.. they do rated.. just because they aren't underrated and are priced accordingly doesn't mean shit..

Call it what you will, but for every 2 bad things said about Hifonics I hear 2 good things about them, No one has told me that they are terribly over rated and I just stepped up from a Kole 5500 watt amp. So I would say that I am doing good. I am not knocking anyone's ideas as I am sure the other brands are great amps, but I already have 2 hifonics amps and I don't want to mix and match so I will run with Hifonics. I have seen my share of people using Hifonics with BTL's and other subs and I am pretty sure they do way better than my old Kole amp. lol so I think I will be straight, and by the way that Kole was pushing that 18" BL pretty good.

Now I will admit the old ones were a TAD overrated but not much.. maybe 10% they should do 1800+ with 14v..

people are so confused in the head over here.. if the amps are underrated and but still priced more than what they do then they must be shit.. Sundown,aq, rd etc are examples of those.. they are underrated 100+ watts and then priced like they do 1000+ watts more..
