when you say 2 fi q's will own a dub 7 do you mean 2 of them will beat one or will a pair of q's beat a pair of 7's

it's all in the install. If he has a crappy install u can probably beat his 2 W7s with 1 Q in a properly ported box.

BUT.. he did not have a alt upgrade or any electrical up grade, and the other thing that is funny is he was running both of his 7s off of ONE JL 1000/1

I've seen some shops that say they are professionals but really just throws the sub into a prefab box.

not exacty to the size specs on topic. i sold my 2 treo ssx 15's to a member here. he emailed back, that they spank the 3 13W7's he had. powered of an autotek MM4000. just some backing that even though the W7 is a great sub, they are beatable!

Yeah, he probably should be running a larger amp.

One other way you could be louder then him is to have more power, along with different speakers and a good enclosure design.

so it sounds like i wana go with the fi q's and get them each some real good power and have them in the perfect enclosure.

how would that setup compare to a pair of L7's, probly not as loud but much more sound quailty?
