i have 2 POWER ACOUSTIK 15" P3 2 ohm subs. link for subs p3 what are my wiring options? what is the best way for me to wire my subs to this amp? please keep your cheap comments to yourself i know that i have cheap stuff and it wont put out nearly as much watts as it says it does i just want to know what is the best way to wire these subs to my amp

this is my amp Max Pro 4000 Watt 2 Channel High Power Mosfet Amplifier MODEL: MXA282 SERIES: MAX

here is the link for the amp manual http://lanzar.com/manuals/MXA232-242-252-282-412-422.pdf

Well, are they dvc2ohm? If so, you have very few options. In fact, your only option is to wire for series at 4ohm, and run each one off a seperate channel. No way that amp will do 2ohm mono.

Now if they are svc2ohm, just wire them each to a channel for a 2ohm stereo load

you picked a very bad coil configuration for that particular amp

your kinda screwed then. Your only option is a 4ohm stereo load. Series each one, and wire each one to its own channel..its supposed to be 2x300 in a 4ohm stereo load, but I would expect no more than 200x2 at 4ohm

well, you need power at either .5ohm or 2ohm. So yes you need a mono, and it needs to be stable at .5, which is hard to find unless you have outstanding electrical, or something that delivers a fair amount of power at 2ohm. What would your budget be?
