How "musical" are L7 for daily? Thinking about changing it up.

Edit for the same price range as the 3 L7 12"s, what other 3 D2 12" would you recommend? Keep in mind they need to be able to function in 5cubes or less.

specs are to protect kicker not to help you get the most from your subs we never put a 12" in less than 2.25cf they dont sound to hot in small boxes

best sub, thing weighs 35 pounds and has a 30mm xmax

or if you are trying to go cheaper these are what the zrs replaced and i have 4 of them in my grand prix, just as loud as l7's but much better sq

No motor noise at all. They sound very clean for them being right next to you. At 1000 a piece the L7s should be fine I figure.

IMO you're out of your mind to replace the RLs's with square anything. Why not re-build the box with 2 of the soundsplinters and port them. The TC9/TC2K family of woofers really really shine ported.

DC. My Level 4 12" is sitting in 1.75cubes after displacement and sounds great, gets loud, and very low. I say grab 3 of them. They'll love 1000rms each (their rated power) and can take plenty more. Great SQL woofer.
