how much you getting back from tax's or paying?

Oh...I thought it was because they can "brag" to their friends (not saying that is what you are doing) but I hear at my PT job that people are like , I get $x, well, I got y. They ask me and I say "hopefully, zero".
It just seems odd that people would rather have less money.
maybe if you had a kid would you get something back :p dunno if you do just messing with you. i know out of my girls check they only withold about 2,000 this year but she still got 3,800 back and im not bragging about it. i am gonna brag once i finally pick up my def tech towers with that money //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/yumyum.gif.0556df42231b304b9c995aefd13928a8.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif

i believe i opted for like a 2.00 charge last year when i did them, they took it directly out of my payment. but then again, i believe it was to get the money a tad quicker.
That isn't bad. I think H & R block charges like 20% for rapid refund.

Has anyone tried that free-file deal? I haven't and probably won't because I send in a packet of stuff. It seems like a good idea and might get a refund faster.

ill probably end up paying cuz of scholarship money
how gay is that
werd.

This will probably be the last year I get money back for the next 4 years. But hey, extra scolarship money = pocketed.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif

if you are a student you do not have to file, but my parents still carried me as a dependent also

Flip I see where you are coming from.

It pays to even out your taxes so you can invest the money into things that earn intrest. But honestly I can only handle so much responsibility and thinking ahead before my brain melts, so I do what I can.

For those people who are really good with numbers your way is surely better.

A kid would definitely help my tax situation. I would then be eliglbe for EIC, and be able to take another credit for my investments.

The govt hates single investors/traders I guess.

You have to file your W2 return. You have to know how much intrest you have gotten from the bank as well. Just google a tax return web site. There are many that are free and pretty fool-proof.

1040-EZ would be right up his alley. As long as you can add and it only takes ~11 minutes

If you scan pics of your W-2s I can do it for you if you would like (ASSUMING YOU HAVE NO OTHER INCOME OF ANY KIND!!!)

Block out SS# and such. All I really need is the numbers.
