how much would you pay for a 1993 supra?

just depends on what lot you go through. most places do use nada but thats because nada tends to be a little higher in most cases then kbb. last car i bought though the dealership had the kbb printout right there in the window.
yea dude, they show you the KBB, but car dealership go by the "used car black book"....it says what they should buy the car for from an auction or as a trade in, and it says what they should sell it for to maximize profits.. if you go to the USED lot of a new car dealership. every car out there will make them atleast 3000 profit. ive seen cars profit the dealership $20000 (and that was a new car.)

yea but it takes a supra 1600hp to do 8's, and i wouldnt want to drive a 1000+hp car everyday, especially in the rain.
Boost controller FTW //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif Hah okay well 8's is a little far fetched, but I know what he is getting at. My club has a 505 RWHP turbo S2000 (GT35R turbo, on pump gas) and it is driven all year round. The thing runs high 10's. Low boost setting puts it down to 14 psi from 22 psi and high 300's in RWHP. Helps a whole lot.

Ya there is a lot of money in the used car business //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

If I was going to cough up that much cash for a ricer, it would be a NSX.
Yea but the supra would eat the nsx for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Supras are very nice and they weren't expensive until the fast and the furious came out. If you want the supra motor, why not get the is300. They're pretty cheap.

Very true. It is a naturally aspirated 2jz correct? I'm surprised I haven't seen many of them either. I know there is one that is in the amateur drifting circuit around my area (goes to drift events at Englishtown Raceway).

You're correct sir. You'll see more of it when they feature it in another the fast and the furious movie that beats a supra. haha (being sarcastic). I've seen a couple on the cl boards that are boosted and they produce pretty good numbers.

not in the corners. where i have the most fun.
ah...i don't do corners. Too much driving and thinking for me. lol j/k. It seems like more and more are hitting up the circuit tracks but there are still plenty out there that just do the quarters. I mean if you can afford one out of the two, why not just buy both so you can do go around tracks and go straight lines? lol

that's actually why I'm selling my audi. The 2nd gen gs300 has the 2jzge and I'm going to do the gte swap to have a fun mid size luxury sedan. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Supras go for ~$18k around here. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

Considering the work put into it, maybe $30k tops.

I mean, c'mon, he's got stock turbos on the f*cking thing.

yeah i know how it works. when i haggled for my car i frustrated the manager so much he wanted to pull his hair out. it was kinda funny that i got to him so much. I talked him down on the car so much and then talked him up on my trade that when he said he wasnt going to make any money on the car i called him out on it. he eventually showed me the paperwork for when he took my civic in on trade. i paid exactly what he took it in at but he made money off the car the other guy bought and a couple g's on my trade so i didnt feel sorry for him haha
