how much would u pay for this car?

why is it salvage?i know some states give salvage titles for nothing more than a fender bender

a salvage title at an auction no more than $3k
its the insurance company that totals out cars //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif not the state. My dad also owns part of a salvage yard and some of these cars go for decent money wrecked. http://www.southside-auto.com

it will go for more than what its worth as it sits

then again most people may shy away from it because of repairs and people not wanting to buy high dollar items so much right now

what i meant was the state has to issue a salvage title

that wont come from any insurance company

insur decided if it is

state allows it to be titled as salvage or rebuilt

Noticed it didn't have mirrors. Where is the other damage (what does the auction listing say)? Is that bumper busted and that's it?
If there's no other damage, I bet it goes for 7-9K.

(not saying I'd go there, but that's my bet).

the listing says all over dmg. I think the suspension is fux. but im not sure about anything on the engine. im gonna shoot for 4k.

and I bought my car from a similar auction place for 900. it was salvaged but all I had to do is buy a new front bumper =)

It really depends on how damaged it is... if the frame is messed up, suspension, those are going to be costly repairs. If it's just a few mirrors, bumper, and fmic then I would say go for it. Also remember that if things like the frame or steering need repair, the car will likely not ever drive like it used to. What I would do is find out how much it would cost to repair what's wrong with the car, then determine how much you are willing to pay total, subtract the repairs, and that's the highest you should bid on it. You can also remeber that you can part it out, and the recaros are going to be worth quite a bit, the turbo, engine, as long as not damaged could net you some profit if you just want to strip and sell...

4k isnt going to take that car. i would bet more like 7-9. i fairly new has aftermarket parts. i would honestly be checking if it starts or runs. if it is a run adn drive it is going for lik 8 i say. to nice of a car to go for 4. but good luck
