doesn't matter how many batts you have, power out needs to be put back in. so, running 2 batteries, means that you have more storage, so if you drain that down, it will take the alt longer to fill it back up. but, daily use, aside form going full tilt off the batteries, will be pretty close to the same as before. still better to go one battery and a good ho alternator, than more batteries on a stock alt, though
