how much volume ported?

i have a cheap 15" powerbass sub thats currently in a sealed box. output sucks, so im going to build a ported enclosure. sub is rated at 300, and my powerbass amp is rated at 400w. ill probably tune it to 32-34. what i need help with is how much volume i should give it.

im thinking 3 - 3.5 cubes. what would u do?

Those subs come with a booklet on enclosure rec's.According the to the booklet 3.5 at 30 hz is optimal.
actually i have to the pamphelt and dont trust the manufacturer specs bc their so small:

that 2.5 is including the port and sub displacement...
