Thanks manI agree with this guy a 110 percent on everything he just said. I dont know what he recomends you buy or look at or think about but i am very happy with audioque products and there customer service. There amps are a little pricey but very nice. You could go with a different brand amp but again stay away from the names that he told you not to buy. Its true.
For subs, i'd look for things around the 100-185 dollar mark. Personally, I'd look at the AudioQue DC2.5's, the SSA DCON's, Obsidian Audio , or maybe some DC Level 2's.
Amps are a bit pricier, but a quality amp will be worth your time, in the end. I'm not saying you should go pay a dollar a watt for your amps, but 4-5 watts per dollar is usually a pretty solid buy. I wish Crescendo made a few smaller amps, their weakest amp is 2000w, which is probably more power than you're looking for... you could always wait until they do release a few more "conservative" amps.
In lieu of waiting for CA to release smaller amps, you should consider the AQ750 or AQ1200 depending on how much power your subs will handle. I'm sure other people can recommend more amps to you...
