how much power

i'll be using a jl 450/4 with boston acoustics z6 in the front doors and jl audio xr650-cxi in the rear deck.

what would be a good sub setup that bumps but not to over power the front stage? i think i'm getting old now, i'm wanting sound quality over BASS.

New SI mag

ID or IDQ 10"

Any decent 500 watt amp will work for this, get someone local to build the box, as Prefab is pretty garbage in general, and you can spec your tuning and dimensions so it fits your car better.

i'll build my own box, that's not a problem.

With that 450/4 in mind, I'd run something along the lines of 5-600 rms, and you'll be good.

Also, the new mags is a good idea, FI Q would do well, so would an RE SE

All sound great and get plenty loud enough

which subs do you guys think would work better with 250w going to each in a sealed box?

image dynamics id 12 d4 v.3

image dynamics idq 12 d4 v.3

jl audio 13tw5-3

any other suggestions on sub choices? i want to stay in the 12"-13" range.

when speakers are installed in the rear deck, do you guys put them in enclosures? you would think from the amount of air the subs are moving, it would push/pull the speakers in the deck.
