How much power you run to youir type r's

Just wonderin what amp and how much power you guys are runnin to these things ill be running 2200 watts rms to 2 SWR-1222D so idk im a little wary

i've put 1000 to one a few times. it handled it like a champ.

do you have the electrical system to supply 2200 watts?

i'd be careful, i dont think you will need that much power though, i would think they would pund off less than 1500, but maybe u like ot go deaf lol

Well heres the deal I have 2 type r dual 2s and i have a memphismcd1000 1100 at 1 ohm problem is i cant get a 1 ohm impedence so im either setting the memphis to .5 ohm or im getting another memphis mcd1000 and bridging them togather so htey run 2200 at 2 ohm load

I tried 1500 total to 2 12's of the 05's and I didnt like how they took it seemed to clip easy on that 750 a piece. Maybe it was just those 12's though

do a single sub setup. that will suppress the need for a high output alternator and a second battery.

lol amount of subs means nothing about your electircal system, just run your amp at .5ohm, upgrade the big 3 and you should be fine its not like you are running a ton of power...

subs dont clip amps do...
