Is this safe?

MRD-M1005 is NOT 1 ohm stable. People have tried. And people have failed.
And no, there are no "easy" mods to make it such....

You're just going to have to buy a new amp.

 
It's not worth it.

I ran a Legacy amp bridged @ 2 ohms back in the day. Thing never went out on me. I still have that thing.

But I would not care if I destroyed it. An Alpine amp, I would care.
