how much power did you run to your type R?

i see we got allot of people who have or are using type Rs. so if you did how much power did you run to the one or pair what ever. and did they last. im trying to find a good amount that they will be able to handle. do not want to blow them. thanks.

sub sonic is for setups with a ported box. and yes if you run ported, play below tuning, and dont have the sub sonic on and set for below your tuning of your box, youll murder the sub.

ya i was thinking im going to give them about 750 each.

any idea what should set the sub sonic on my amp if my box is ported to 33hz?

i had my 200.1 running a single r12 at 2 ohms

amp is rated at 2000@2 ohms

Whatever a powerbass xa-3000d does at 1ohm on 16v, a colossus @ 1ohm on 14v, etc. xa-3000d @ 1ohm on 14v was my daily setup, the 15" laughed at it.

Had 2 12's on the pbx @ .5 on 14v but the box wasn't very efficient so they would get stinky after a couple minutes full tilt...

right now i am running 2 10" type r's on one of my orion 2500d's, i cant run full power to them for more than a minute though. i used to run 2 12's on a bxi2006d and that was perfect for them.
