How much power can it take?

DD SW2508sc will hopefully be here next week. M1c will be picked up after the 1st.

Box will be ported 1.25 net.

Alternator is a stock 150amp

I've seen M1c clamps ranging from 1500 at 12v to 2200 at 14v. Amp has a clip light and if it's like my old M4 it's good to go.

Setting with a DMM what should I set it for? I'm sure it will be backed down anyway since I'll be on stock interiors for a little while.

1000 is the most i'd give any 8 for daily. Maybe 1200 with supercharged. Afterwards you'll attenuate with sub level to blend with stocks for sure, that thing can easily drown out a stock system. The full power will be reserved for songs with weak bass recordings like metal and rock

It's going in the trunk with no ski pass and the seats are thicker than I thought. Rms on it is 800. Kevin from DD said it would be just fine full tilt but that's a bit out there. He said that's what they had on the proto. I figured I'll set it full power and use the remote to dial it in. That's pretty much what I've always done.
