how much of an alt?

ok im going to be running two aq2200d's probabbly, so we'll say 4k. with a big interstate battery up front, with either 1 or two deka 9a31's in the back (one if possible) how strong would i need an alternator to be?

id go with biggest that you can get for your car. im goign to be running about the same amount of power as you, and biggest i can get is 250amps from mechman. send him an e-mail they got back to me right away.

200 amp ho alt should be fine

When I ran 4k on modded amps, I got away with a 200 amp HO alty with a redtop Optima up front and 3 yellow tops in the trunk and it did the trick.

well those dekas are 200 a pop~. so im hoping to get like a 250a and one battery, if not another, but not more than that.
