How much money do you need/month to survive?

On the outsides of Birmingham, Alabama

me, fiance', 2yr. old son (me only one working)

Mortgage - $1,400 month

Utilities - $400 month

Direct Tv - $120 month

Cell phones $200 month

Gas varies from $100 - $150 a week

Food ($150 week from store $100 week eating out)

5 vehicles paid for so no car payments

various items $ 450 month

So around $3,500+ here but can get by on less in this area of the country if had to..

Jacksonville, AR.

Nothing really. Gas is free at parents gas station //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I work because I get bored. But I make good money anyways so I have spending money lol

Madison Wisco.....College house with 5 other roomates (each have our own room)

Rent w/ utilities, internet, TV, and everything=$350/month

Cell=$40/month

Insurance=$75/month

Food and gas=$200/month

Car and everything is paid off.

So I could get by with $665/month.

It's a big house. And I think it's fun to have that many people in the same house. I'm never board, that's for sure.

Honestly, though.....If need be, I can live in the wilderness for free. It's a good thing to know how to do. If anything ever ended up happening in the US, I'd just go up into Canada in the Northwest.

Rent (living with 4 girls) + utilities/etc = ~400

Gas = ?? its different every month...depending on if i go home or what not. Like 80 if I stay in fargo, 200 if I go home.

Food = around 100 + eating out 4-5 times a month

So like 580-650.

I'm moving in August though.

Battle Creek, MI (Southwest Michigan)

-Mortgage-$480

-Utilites-$400

-Car-$280

-Insurance-$200

-Food-$400-500

-Cell-$115

So right about $2000/month. Have a Fiancee that lives with me and expecting one on the way.

We go out wayyyyy too much though, so it's hard for us to save unless we eliminate going out.

Ogden UT

Objectively? No of course there's nothing wrong with it. You hit the jackpot and nobody is going to sit here and act like they wouldn't love to live the same way.

Subjectively? fuc k you you fa ggot go get a f ucking job and stop being a fu cking mooch pus syboy.
