Edit: I should've listed the poll differently. But pick the plan you have not including tax n such. 30 plan would equate to the 30-50 option ect..

I'd like to know.

I've been done w/ contracts for years. Currently using a " Straighttalk" Samsung 451c

@ 30 bucks a month. 1000min/1000txt (iirc) and internet. Got the phone for 20 bucks but in return used a code for free shipping and $20 in gift cards. So free.

How much do you guys pay? Contract? PAYG?

I have 2 phones on Verizon. The 2 phones share 700 minutes, both phones have unlimited text, my phone has unlimited data. Its supposed to be $141 and change a month. With how much my wife talks its like $180 a month.

I have Straight talk for my ole lady and me and both phones together are $60 a month. If she gets an unlimited plan its and extra $15 bucks, but her phone has wifi, so she really doesn't need unlimited data cause she just uses wifi. I was paying $110 a month for At&t with 700 minutes and unlimited data and text.

I was SO FUC_KING mad when I found out that Straight talk uses the At&t network and the Verizon network. Why am I paying $80 less a month to use the same network through someone else? When you look on the phones at walmart, the little blue map of the U.S. is At&t and a picture of a red U.S. uses the Verizon network. They even have 3G service too.

The only thing I hate is when I have to call for customer service, They contracted all the service agents through India, so it's VERY hard to understand them. But to save my family $110 dollars a month, I don't really care. I hate At&t!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Straight talk 53.00 a month...NO CONTRACT..Had At t for ever, and they kept hiking up my bill with theyre little cluased memo/foot notes and was paying like 140 ,cost me 150 to get out of the contract, went w mtro pcs(Junk)! Crapy dump calling .Happy at the moment w this service..just miss the gps feature that I had w metro pcs..If anyone want a samsung Metro pcs blackberry type phone for like $50 bucks shipped, let me know..Pm me..I dont even own a home phone:D

I heard it was just the Verizon network. Meh, doesn't matter much to me who Straight talk uses aslong as the service is good.

The cs is in India, guess I wasn't that surprised. They have a strict "script" they follow which is pretty annoying. But overall haven't had any problems with them.

Yeah, both At&t and Verizon have pretty much the same coverage areas now. My parents use Verizon service though Straight talk and my Ole Lady and I use At&t service through Straight Talk, and when we travel together on trips, we pretty much have the same coverage patterns. I am hoping that in a couple years, they don't decide to screw us by hiking the rates/per month and I am again forced to pay a high cell phone bill.
