how much eDead and what kind?

It takes roughly 25sq foot of Edead to do 2 doors with one layer. The better one is Edead v1 SE, and depending on how much dampening you would like depermins how many layers you should laydown on the door.

I'm not to sure what outside vibrations are, i will asume that those are things like your side mirrows, or loose door handles. Assuming that this is the problem i would recomend you lay some mat between the speaker and the door, so that it absorbs the vibrations. While your at it, i would recomend that you mat the whole door, so that you can reduce the amount of sounds that come through the door, making the ride quieter, and the music sound louder.

Hope this helps.

I just did my two front doors a couple weeks ago and will be doing my rear doors pretty soon... I ordered a couple of the eDead scrap packages so I got to work with both v1 and v1se. The v1se is quite a bit thicker but is also a little bit harder to cut/work with. I was glad to have some of both but preferred working with the v1 on my car. I have a custom MDF baffles in each of my doors for my speakers and various other obstructions to work around so the v1 was more convenient for me. In a simpler application where you can use larger sheets the v1se is probably the way to go. It took right about 20 sq feet for both of my front doors, I used a mixture of the v1se and v1 and did multiple layers in a few places.

As a side note I like the product... there was a little odor for the first couple days but that seems to be gone now and it made a big difference in the sound quality in my car. Part of that was due to the fact that my installer didn't seal the area around the MDF baffles though //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/mad.gif.c18f003ab0ef8a0d9c27ca78d77a6392.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/mad.gif.c18f003ab0ef8a0d9c27ca78d77a6392.gif
