living in kansas is nice financially, i made 3-3.5k a month in west virginia, and was barely making ends meet. the money stretches a lot more here.

Being an engineering intern is nice, I could have made about $3500 a month or $18.81/hr as an intern at Kohler in Wisconsin, but it would have been a summer internship and a fall co-op plus I would have had to pay rent and everything on a place. Instead I work less than a half hour from home making about $2000 a month or $12/hr but have no rent, food or other bills so I am actually taking home more.

X2^^ Come live in Oklahoma and you can party like a rock star for small coins!! I own a 1300sqf house in a nice suburb for WAY,WAY LESS than a $1000 bucks a month payment. Same house on the West or East coast would cost 3 times as much or more. Gas is still below $3.50 a gallon for 100% gas.

Hell yea My house is a 4 bedroom 1200sqft that was totally remodeled and it only ran me 84k
