Ive only built and sold 3 boxes, all in the 3-6 cubes range, no fancy ports/kerfs/roundovers etc and I did them all for $75-100 + exact materials

Built a sealed one for a buddy out of fiberglass for a case of beer

$100-150 plus materials is a deal. if he gets pissed, i would tell him to **** off and build it for someone else and then show him what he missed out on. i always tell people i will do stuff for 1/2 what a shop quotes, then i give em a "deal" for about 100 plus materials "just for them." makes people feel special...

If its a local customer then i would charge much more. I charge my local customers 150-200 for simple ported box, a 11 cube box i would probably charge 350 or so with materials.
