Hey all you box builders out there! How much do you charge for a box? pretty much a guy asked me how much i would charge him for a box that is 11.5ft^3? so how much do you think i should charge? thx any input is appreciated.

coming from you sounds solid that is what i told the guy. He seemed very unhappy! He said a shop gave him a bid for $700! But yet he was still upset at the price. so we will c if he goes with it. I have never built a box this big so when I add bracing is there a certain area i should know about when bracing?

Wish I could charge that much, haha. I wouldnt mind pocketing over $500 on a single build...

When bracing, concentrate on the center of large panels, they are the most likely to flex.

yup! haha that is what i was saying! Furthermore... this guy keeps telln me that his port need to be 13"x2" WTF! haha. i can already tell this guy is gona be a b itch to work with! oh well i need the monies!

You might want to check his design closely, cause if it sounds like shit, he's gonna blame you.

im re-designing it bro! his was utterly horrid. dont know where he learned how to count cuz his numbers were screwed.
