This thread has been done a few times, but off the top of my head with sound deadeners and everything I would say $5000 give or take.
They cost anywhere from $250-$400 roughlyhow much are you guys paying for your alternators?
Depends if you want to just wire it up to the current battery, or do it the "right" way with an isolator and all kinds of fancy stuff.how much does it cost to put second battery in the trunk?
Probably not. When your car is on and you are driving down the road, the alternator is what is supplying the power for the system. The additional battery would probably hurt you as opposed to help you because the alt isn't strong enough to power system, so the amp will draw it's current from the batteries, which mean the alt now has to work twice as hard trying to recharge the additional batteries.would my stock 80amp alternator with extra bettery in the trunk be able to handle about 1500wrms for bx1500d and 2 dual 4ohm 15s?
squeek9798: thanks for the reply bro, it helped a lot. as far as the alts go, i heard 200+ amp from stinger would cost me 750+ but i've heard a lot of good things about some guy iraggi that builds alts and sells them online, but i have no clue how much he sells them for. do you? or do you know anybody else online that builds them, or should i go look for a local place that does that?
