How much deadener to order?

I am about to order my amp sub and deadener....just wondering how many square feet to order. I want to do the inside and outside panels of the door. Also is there anything else that I will need to order to install the deadener?

a roller will come in handy. you can get one in the wallpaper section at Home Depot

i'm not exactly sure how much you will need. If you PM Ant, second skin rep, he'll have all the answers you'll need.

For deadener, i believe the more the merrier, as long as you can put your panels back on.

measure your door height, measure your door length, multiply. Tah dah! And definately the more the merrier. In my explorer i did single layer throughout the whole vehicle, and it made a good difference. In my avalanche i have double layered raamat and one layer of ensolite, and the difference between the avy and the explorer is huge

i did 4 layers on my wheel wells and two everywhere else in the car.

Took me 3 8 hour days to get everytihng out ,deaden,and put everything back in

this was in an 06 scion tc very easy to remove all the panels,floor,and doors.

I took my time and was well worth the 24 hours i put in

The more the better. Car rides so quiet its kinda freaky

With sound deadening, the more you do, the better results.

All products do have a point of deminishing returns, but it ussualy takes a good 3 layers of decent mat to get close.
