How much 2 charge for installing amp kit

• Friends/Family: $30-50
  
• Acquaintances: $40-65
  
• Referrals: $50-80

Of course, the price goes up if multiple runs/distribution blocks, etc are involved.

i charge 60-65 for trucks. and about 65-75 for cars... and that includes running remote and rca's. power. ground. and hooking it all up and tuneing it..

Good to know, my initial reaction was that 100$ was to high. He doesnt have his deck yet but when that comes in, ill pretty much be installing all his equipment. Im gonna make it clean and use zipties to keep the shi tz in place. Just gonna have to pack all my tools up cuz im driving to his place to do the install.

yeah those trucks have a big grommet on the firewell...no need to drill a hole...easy panels along door sill to pop to run wires...It shouldn't take but an hour tops to do the whole job....

If I liked the dude I'd do it for nothing.

If I didn't know him I'd do it for $15 so I could get a big a$$ plate of BBQ afterwards.

seems like im doing a lil more work then expected.... Had to install his subs and waiting for him 2 get a deck with some pre outs cuz i got 6 RCAs waiting to being hooked up..

anyone know how the **** to get RCA's up the right side of a ford f150 98 anyway?? its so **** tight theres barely any space to work with.

Hes also standing around... helping a lil bit here and there. I can see why people are more comfortable working by themselves sometimes, extra hand does help though.

kit didnt have distro blocks and he thought he needed a 4 awg amp kit and an 8 awg kit... so he got both.

lots of splicing and my drills battery was giving out when screwing in the subs..

I was also running low on light and those pannels were *****es to pop out, much easier on chevys. I have no idea how to run the RCA's though theres a tiny tiny gap. Maybe ill have better luck after i get the old deck out.
