would you care to show use any of these posts? cuz i don't think i've seen them...

How in the holy land of genital ****wads can you flame on LoneRanger when you said this cockeyed jumble of juvenile ****nutted grouping of shitbag words:

"Sometimes depending on the enclosure underpowering is worse than overpowering. Like in a sealed inclosure. The rms of an amp can exceed the rms on a sub just not the max power. Rms on a sub is just an indication of where the minimum amount of power can be supplied. Rms on an amp is just the minimum amount of power an amp will deliver. Like on my Alpine's I have 600watt rms on my amp and 300watt rms on the subs. These subs are hardly broke in an sound great im not stressing them at all because my amp only push 800 watts max 200 under the Type R's maximum rating so I'm sure your gonna be fine."

Can you entertain us with an explanation as to why you feel this way about underpowering a sub:confused:

underpowering a sub is being nicer to the voice coil and surround, something i dont do //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif my subs are dieing from over play ahhhhhh //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

I stated that running a sub at too low of power (below Rms) is bad. I think it is bad because not only will you get hardly any volume out of a sub but the Sub in an enclosed box will MOVE way too much causing distortion and clipping AND EXCESSIVE heat which will destroy a sub. I Didnt buy a TYpe R to run of a legacy you guys make it seem like its ok to run a sub of anything but in my opinion if you are running at lower than the Subs rms you rick hurting the sub.

A rms rating is there for a reason so I suggest using it. Im not gonna buy a sub that has a rms rating of 2200 watts and try and run it off of a Profile 800sx. Thats rediculous.

This is like saying if you play your system at low volumes you will destroy your subs. Also, how would the sub move more if it is getting less power? And clipping occurs from an amp being overloaded.
