How many stamps to go from SC-CA??

I put my MO in the mail yesterday and find that it wasnt taken. There is a 5cent sign circled right to the left of the single stamp i put on there. How much is each stamp worth? Should i put two stamps on it? I am kind of confused.

haha yeah guys i am sorry for being a "dumbass" as you call me. It was a 37cent stamp. I thought all the stamps i have in my house were forever first class stamps and apparently not. I still didnt notice until a few minutes after posting this that it was a 37cent stamp and the price is now 42cents. Get off my balls for not being super observant of the stamp i used. haha
